Internal Uses

We collect, store and process your personal information on servers located in Canada.

We use the information we collect about you in order :

1)	to provide our services and process your transactions,
2)	to provide customer service,
3)	to determine your eligibility to receive offers for special features or products,
4)	to improve our products and services. and
5)	at your option (as indicated on our online forms), we use the information you provide to access specific third party services on your behalf and perform the actions that you request us to perform, such as invoicing.

We give access to individually identifiable information about our users only to those employees who require it to fulfill customer service requests.

Disclosure to Third Parties

Gogobuys will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties. Gogobuys will not share any of your personally identifiable information with third parties except in the limited circumstances described below, or with your express permission. These third parties are limited by law or by contract from using the information for secondary purposes beyond the purposes for which the information is shared.

1)	We share information with companies that help us process the transactions you request and protect our customers' transactions from fraud, such as sharing your credit card number with a service that screens for lost and stolen card numbers. Additionally, if you go into a negative balance and owe us money, we may share information with processing companies including collection agencies.
2)	We disclose information that we in good faith believe is appropriate to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity, or to conduct investigations of violations of our User Agreement. For example, this means that if we conduct a fraud investigation and conclude that one side has engaged in deceptive practices, we can give that person or entity's contact information (but not bank account or credit card information) to victims who request it.
3)	We disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, levy, attachment, order of a court-appointed receiver or other comparable legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action.
4)	We share aggregated statistical data with our business partners or for public relations. For example, we may disclose that a specific percentage of our users live in Ontario. However, this aggregated information is not tied to personally identifiable information.
5)	We share your information with our parent, subsidiaries and joint ventures to help coordinate the services we provide to you, enforce our terms and conditions, and promote trust and safety.

Internet Address Information

We use IP addresses, browser types and access times to analyze trends, administer the site, improve site performance and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Using cookies

A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred from a Web site to the hard drive of your computer so that the site administrator may identify your computer and passively track its activities on the Web site. This unique number identifies your Web browser to our computer system whenever you visit Gogobuys. By storing certain registration and preference information on cookies or associating cookies with registration, preference or profile information stored on our computers, we can deliver products and services that use such information more quickly and efficiently for more users. This information is normally saved in an encrypted form that only our server can interpret.
2)	Prevent others from using your account. On our site, cookies help us efficiently determine that only one user is logged on under the same member name at a time.
3)	Measure statistics such as audience size and traffic patterns. This information is only collected in aggregate form and will not be linked to your personally identifiable information.
4)	Display advertisements. Cookies let us know whether a Web browser has seen a particular advertisement (so we can show you a variety of material) and count the number of advertisements displayed to a particular browser. We also use cookies to customize the advertising you see based on non-personally identifiable demographic information that you provide when you register. Third-party advertising networks for Gogobuys may issue cookies on our network and other sites when serving advertisements.
